Custom Day Tour of Speyside

Highland Tour Guide has conducted distillery tours in Speyside for many years the tours offered and the clients choices have changed through the years. The distilleries have moved from 45 minute tours with a dram, to now when very few distilleries run tours are less than 90 minutes, some tours run to 2 - 3 hours which with travel time means the number of tours which can be completed in a day is reduced. However what we suggest is one or two tours and then visits with tastings at other distilleries.

You select one or two distilleries where you wish to take a tour and then add visits to distilleries or the Speyside Cooperage within your time frame.

Choose form Aberlour, Balvenie, Benromach, Glen Moray, Glen Grant, Cardhu, Glenfidich, Glenlivet, Strathisla, etc; in your time frame of 8 - 10 hours

A number of Connisseur's tours are available at distilleries including The Balvenie, Macallan, Aberlour and more, because of the length of these tours run two to three hours long most need pre-booked an have limited space on the tours.

Clients who hold Historic Scotland Explorer Passes may wish to visit the museum of whisky at Dallas Dhu

NOTE:- Macallan Distillery Tours need pre booked.

They will NOT allow visits without a booking and have a security guard on the gate so those without a booking cannot visit even just to see the building.

£60 per hour for up to six passengers remember that children under 8 are not allowed on some tours. Tours and tastings not included.

N.B.

In December 2014 the Drink Drive Limit in Scotland was lowered to 50mg per 100ml of blood. This means that in Scotland you can not drive to a distillery and sample the products and be safe to drive home.
