General  Booking information for Private and Business Clients

We will expect clients or their agent to read and agree to these terms when booking.

Clients on Inverness Day Tours during 2022.

When a client makes an enquiry for dates they are not held on the system until a booking reference is given. To hold dates we do not require a deposit but if you change your plans please advise so that we can free the date(s) for other clients. You will be sent an invoice with reference, details of your tour, price and agreed collection and return address. Payment details will be included with invoice.

The final payment is required 14 days before your tour commences using the same systems, unless your tour is less than 30 days when full payment is required at the time of booking. Inverness Day tours are assumed to be from accommodation within 3 miles of the center of Inverness. Areas out with may be charged at our agreed rate.

Clients on Custom Tours.

When a client makes an enquiry for dates they are not held on the system until a booking reference is given. To hold dates we do not require a deposit but if you change your plans please advice so that we can free the date for other clients If we have to make payments for ferries, accommodation, attraction tickets, etc these will need to be paid at the time and will not be refunded if you cancel.  You will be sent an invoice with details of your tour, price and agreed start and return address.

The final payment is required 14 days before your tour via bank transfer or other agreed payment method, unless your tour is less than 30 days when full payment is required at the time of booking.

 

 

Clients on Shore Excursions.

When a client makes an enquiry for a shore excursion at Invergordon or Portree or other port of call they are not held on the system until a deposit and booking reference is given. You will be sent an invoice with details of your tour, price and agreed collection and return port.

The final payment is required 30 days before your tour commences using the same systems, unless your tour is less than 30 days when full payment is required.

If your ship fails to dock except due to wind and tide conditions a full refund of all monies will be given less £50 processing fee. This refund will not apply to illness or injury sustained on voyage or existing medical conditions which may mean the tour does not proceed.

If the tour is for groups where coaches or larger vehicles have been booked then no refund will be made.

All Clients

When enquiring for a tour please provide a complete description of the tour you are interested in, if it is not one of the published tours, include the duration, how many are travelling, and importantly dates of travel. 

Once a client agrees a tour and we have supplied invoice and booking reference we will expect you to honor the tour as we will reject other enquires for that day. If you cancel your tour payment will not be refunded unless supported by a medical report, or other supporting information. If the cancellation is due to a Covid less that 14 days we will offer a refund less payments already made for the tour i.e. accommodation, ferries, etc;

Accommodation address or collection point, details of children whose ages are under 11 is required as seat boosters or car seats etc;  maybe needed on the tour.

All passengers count as one seat, all children including babies are counted, this is the law in the United Kingdom, please do not ask to allow children to be seated on an adults lap this is NOT allowed. If a child is removed from a seat or booster the vehicle will stop and not travel unless the child is returned to the seat, again this is the Law in the U.K. your safety and of all passengers is our number one priority. If there is a medical condition that you feel we should be aware of please advise so that we can make allowances.

The vehicle you travel in will be fitted normally with CCTV this is for security and insurance purposes, the recording is on a loop system of 3 hours and re writes over the previous recording, no recording is kept under the Data Protection Act unless an accident or dispute is entered into when the recording will be handed to the Police or insurance investigators, this is for your protection.

Please treat the vehicle and guide with respect and remember the next client who will use the vehicle. In the event of sickness or damage there maybe a charge levied, to clean or repair or hire a replacement vehicle.

We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by circumstances out with our control such as traffic, road works, accidents, delayed departure, ferry cancelations, weather etc; or other factors. We will endeavor to get you to your destination on time.

There maybe times, normally out of the main season when tour itineraries may have to be altered due to attractions being unavailable, we will endeavor to offer an alternative attraction, etc;

We will always endeavor to complete your tour or have a colleague complete it on our behalf if illness, injury or accident to the driver/guide, means your tour may have to be changed or in extreme circumstances cancelled at short notice this may apply to current 

Covid 19 or subsequent legislation. This will result in a full refund only. 

 

 

These conditions are normal terms of carriage and those normally applied, they should cause no concerns with the vast majority of clients, however if you need clarification please email or phone.
